The Power Of Love

For Christmas the ENWOIM blog wanted to do something special. So in our series of New Wave and related covers, we have chosen one of the most magnificient song of that era. It's not quite clear how Frankie Goes To Hollywood relates to New Wave in general - let's face it, the band was considered New Wave by many and a lot of its musicians had a New Wave background, yet the sound was often more like Pop, with high production qualities, especially this special song. But I think this Christmas we can push the scale a bit by saying it is a New Wave band, and thus fitting to this ongoing series by ENWOIM.
